Tor Install Kali

  • Two install requirements Tor and Tor Browser , they are different
sudo apt update -y
sudo apt install tor #tor the service install
sudo apt install -y tor torbrowser-launcher #installs the actual browser bundle
  • Just search for the tor browser in the kali menu and connecting is simple. That will be enough in MOST cases provided light enumeration and poking via the browser is all youre doing

Alter Exit nodes

  • This is really useful and highly recommended
  • This does not work for the Tor Browser Bundle only the tor service, reminder that they are different
  • I will show you how you can make this work for a browser but it will be later on in the guide
